The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Thursday that 40 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 13,417.
It said that 35,974 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 17,674 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 8,010,329 with 1,616,584 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 3,301 hospitalised patients, including 142 patients on ventilators.
