The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Wednesday that 50 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,531.
It said that 23,937 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 7,150 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 5,775,117 with 981,329 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 6,530 hospitalized cases, including 278 patients on ventilators.
