Coronavirus: Serbia reports 50 deaths and 2,631 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, 50 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 16,737 tested, 2,631 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 11,385 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.92 percent.

Currently, 5,116 people are in hospitals, of whom 205 are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 6,727,663‬ people have been tested, 1,241,492 and have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
