The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Thursday that 51 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,582.
It said that 22,978 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 6,978 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 5,798,095 with 988,307 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 6,579 hospitalized cases, including 282 patients on ventilators.
