The Croatian government said on Tuesday that after having successfully met 34 reform indicators from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO), it sent the European Commission on Tuesday a request for the payment of the first installment in the amount of €700 million. Pročitaj više

Croatia is the sixth EU member to have submitted a request for the payment of funds, the government said in a Twitter post.

Based on its plan, Croatia has at its disposal, until 2026, more than 47 billion kuna (€6.2 billion) in grants for structural reforms and investments. The plan focuses on the green and digital economy, public administration and justice, education, science and research, labor market and social protection, health and building reconstruction.

The document, which has more than 1,100 pages, contains a description of 77 reforms and 152 investments towards which the grants will be directed.
