The Slovenian government put the whole of Croatia on the so-called green list, which means that Slovenian citizens and travellers will be able to enter the country without additional epidemiological conditions, but this decision is valid only from July 3 to 11.
When entering Slovenia from a state on the green list, Slovenian citizens and those with temporary residence in Slovenia must present proof that they have been in that area for at least five days before entry, such as evidence of paid accommodation, registration of temporary residence, or an invitation to a special event.
The proof of the five-day stay is only required for the period from departure from Slovenia until the return, and those staying abroad in an area on the green list require similar proof only for the period not spent in Slovenia.
Without proof, passengers returning to Slovenia risk being ordered to quarantine or having to present a mandatory negative test because it will be considered that they have stayed an epidemiologically unsafe area from the red list.
Germany, Switzerland, and Montenegro have also been put on Slovenia’s green list.
