Croatia's total industrial turnover in July 2021 was 17.8% higher than in July 2020 and 0.5% lower than in June 2021, according to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
Compared with July 2020, industrial turnover increased by 15.7% on the domestic market and by 18.1% on the foreign market.
Broken down by main industrial groupings, energy sales increased the most, by 91.7% compared with July 2020. Sales of durable consumer goods rose by 16.9%, sales of intermediate goods by 16.6%, sales of capital goods by 11.8% and sales of non-durable consumer goods were up 7.4%.
Industrial turnover has been growing since the start of the year, with the exception of February, when it dropped by 7.7%. It went up by 1.7% in January, by 11.7% in March, by 40.6% in April, by 36% in May, and by 20.8% in June.
In the first seven months of this year, compared with the same period of last year, industrial turnover increased by 16.7%.
