Croatia's medal-winning rowers, Valent and Martin Sinkovic, have won the gold medal in the men's pair at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The brothers won the final race with a time of 6:15.29, 1.29 seconds ahead of Marius Cozmiuc and Ciprian Tudosa of Romania. Frederic Vystavel and Joachim Sutton of Denmark finished third, claiming bronze.
This is the third Olympic medal for the Sinkovic brothers, each having been won in a different discipline. In 2012, they won the silver medal in the men’s quadruple sculls in London and in 2016 they claimed gold in the men’s double sculls in Rio de Janeiro.
