Croatia's state tourist board HTZ, in cooperation with Expedia, the world's leading travel platform, has launched a promotional campaign on the US market, state agency Hina reported on Wednesday, citing a HTZ press release.
Expedia is a platform with more than 53 million unique visitors on the US market, Hina said.
HTZ director Kristjan Stanicic said that “of all the distant markets, the most important market for Croatia was the United States.”
“After 2020, the first pandemic year, when Croatia was among a very few countries to accept American tourists, this year we are even more available to passionate travelers, as we have two active direct flights this summer season connecting New York and Dubrovnik,” Stanicic said in a press release cited by Hina.
The HTZ director “expressed confidence” that the new campaign will “additionally position Croatia as an attractive, quality, safe, and a well prepared destination.”
