
Croatian Alpine skier Filip Zubcic was second in the last World Cup giant slalom of the season in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, on Saturday while Alexis Pintaurault of France finished the race first.
Pintaurault, who was first also in the first run, secured victory with a time of 2:15.75, while Zubcic finished second with a time of 2:15.95. Mathieu Faivre of France was third with a time of 2:15.96.
The Small Crystal Globe thus went to Pintaurault, who now has 700 points in the giant slalom ranking, followed by Marco Odermatt of Switzerland (today 11th), with 649 points, and Zubčić, with 606 points.
Pinturault also tops the overall ranking, having secured the Big Crystal Globe with 1,200 points. Odermatt follows with 1,093 points and Marco Schwarz of Austria is third with 774 points.
Zubcic is fifth in the overall ranking with 744 points.
