French skier Clement Noel on Sunday won the Val d'Isere slalom race of the World Cup, Swede Kristoffer Jakobsen came second, while Croatia's skier Filip Zubcic finished the race at the third position.
This has been the best result in the slalom discipline for the 28-year-old Croatian skier so far in the World Cup. Before that, his best result was fifth place in a slalom race in the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup.
Another Croatian skier, Matej Vidovic, ranked 19th in today’s slalom race.
