Head of Zagreb post-quake reconstruction fund steps down

In February, Vandjelic said that he would leave the fund once it got into full swing.  He also hinted at his possible resignation in the event that he was dissatisfied with the performance of the fund.

Media outlets have speculated that he and the minister of construction and state assets, Darko Horvat have been at loggerheads over the pace of the post-quake reconstruction.

In September, Vandjelic omplained about poor cooperation with the government which prompted Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to tell Vandjelic to do the job he was tasked with.
