A severe thunderstorm accompanied by very strong winds hit several mainland Croatian counties on Sunday, downing trees and causing massive damage to homes, crops, and vehicles.
Firefighters reported more than 200 emergency interventions, including removing trees from roads. They were also busy putting out fires along the coast, in Dalmatia.
Firefighters were busy the most with removing the debris caused by a storm in Sisak-Moslavina County.
They were also putting out fires on several locations near Trilj, Makarska, and Solin.
While putting out a wildfire near Solin, firefighters found the body of a young man.
