Indictment issued against Austrian national for murder of his children in Zagreb

Kopitz is charged with first-degree murder.

Kopitz killed his three underage children in a flat in Zagreb's Mlinovi neighbourhood and then attempted suicide. At the time of the crime, the children's mother was out of town and they were spending the weekend with him.

The prosecutors are demanding an extension of Kopitz's pretrial detention due to the gravity of the crime he committed and the risk of repeating this crime.
