At the end of July 2021, 126,006 persons were registered with the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ), which is 25,427 fewer job-seekers or 16.8 percent down from July 2020. July 2021 was the fourth consecutive month to see a year-on-year drop in the number of unemployed persons.
The number of job-seekers dropped also on the month, by 226 or 0.2 percent from June.
The number of job-seekers continued falling also in August, with 125,949 unemployed persons currently registered with the HZZ, 57 down from July.
The HZZ currently has 15,270 vacancies advertised.
