Man arrested in Serbia for selling fake PCR tests

The police in south-western Serbian town of Prijepolje arrested a 36-old man suspected of selling fake negative PCR coronavirus tests, the Interior Ministry (MUP) said on Monday.

They discovered two false tests during the control of a car with a local Prijepolje man and a woman from Montenegro, believed to have bought the tests from the arrested man.

The criminal charges were filed against the two, while the arrested man was detained for 48 hours after which he will face the local prosecutor’s office.
