In March 2021 Croatia's consumer prices increased by 1.2 percent year-on-year, the second month in a row to see an increase in prices, the state statistics bureau DZS said on Friday.
According to DZS, in March the prices of goods and services increased on average by 1.2 percent on the year, after they had inched up 0.3 percent in February.
Since April 2020 consumer prices have been dropping year-on-year every month, with the exception of September, when they remained unchanged.
The prices of alcoholic drinks and tobacco saw the highest year-on-year increase, of 10.3 percent.
The highest monthly increase in consumer prices, of 10.4 percent, was for clothing and footwear products, followed by alcoholic beverages and tobacco (+5.5 percent) and transport (+2 percent).
