Bosnia and Herzegovina registered an increase in daily coronavirus cases, with more than 400 new infections reported in the country in the past 24 hours, according to data by healthcare authorities published on Friday.
In the Federation (FBiH) entity, there were 289 confirmed infections among the 1,876 tests conducted since Thursday and seven Covid-19 patients passed away.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 109 of the 672 people tested were positive for the virus and nine died due to the disease.
Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported four new infections and one Covid-19 fatality.
