North Macedonia’s government ordered an overnight curfew across the country which will be in effect for the next 12 days, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
He said that the curfew will be in effect from Wednesday, 10 March, to Monday, 22 March, from 10 pm to 5 am. Zaev said that the curfew will not be enforced for travellers at international airports and in road traffic, as truck drivers are not allowed to spend more than three hours in transit through the country.
Under the same government order, people coming into North Macedonia from African countries have to go into 14-day isolation at their homes.
