The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Friday that 17 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,000.
It said that 9,576 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 1,543 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 2,609,580 with 393,897 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 4,103 hospitalised patients, including 153 patients on ventilators.
