The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Sunday that 28 COVID-19 patients died in the country in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,548.
It said that 16,098 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 5,003 who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 5,241,284 with 816,912 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that 2,780 people are currently hospitalized, including 138 patients on ventilators.
