In the last 24 hours, there have been 289 new cases of infection with coronavirus in Slovenia, and also seven more deaths linked to this disease, the country's health authorities reported on Sunday.
Only 12% of 2,406 PCR tests have returned positive in the last 24 hours. In Slovenian hospitals, 499 people are being treated for this infectious disease.
The average number of daily new cases in the last seven days is 619.
So far, 251,755 citizens or 23% of Slovenia's population have been given vaccines against COVID-19.
