COVID certificates will not be necessary to participate in the Remembrance Day march, however, it is essential to adhere to all prescribed epidemiological measures. Participants are required to wear masks and keep their distance and it is recommended to additionally disinfect hands, the authorities said.

They also underlined that there is no organised travel, accommodation or meals at the commemoration this year while hospitality facilities in Vukovar-Srijem County and some parts of Osijek-Baranja and Brod-Posavina counties will operate until 9 pm with general epidemiological measures in place.

Commemorations for victims of the fall of the City of Vukovar in the hands of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and Serb rebels in 1991 also take place in Vukovar on 19 and 20 November every year and these events too will be organised in line with anti-epidemic measures this year.
