Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic said on Tuesday, concerning preparations for the Advent in Zagreb event, that there would be no ice rink outside the Central Railway Station and that 93 Advent kiosks would be set up at five locations in the city.
The auction for renting the 93 Advent booths will be held on 18 October, and they will no longer be awarded directly to renters, the Mayor said at a news conference.
The starting prices for renting those stands are between 1,000 and 30,000 kuna.
Tomasevic informed the press that the project of the upgrade and reconstruction of the Croatian Natural History Museum would be funded in the amount of HRK 57 million from the European Union's funds, plus 40 million kuna which would be secured from the city budget.
The decision to co-fund this project was unanimously supported by all the benches in the city assembly, he added.
