Revenue of nautical ports €115 million in 2017

The revenue of Croatia's nautical ports rose by 11.2 percent in 2017 to 855 million kuna (€115 million), according to a report by the national statistics bureau on Thursday.

A lion’s share of the revenue came from mooring rentals, some 598 million kuna, or 10.9 percent up from 2016.

The figure includes 140 nautical ports along Croatia’s Adriatic coast, including 70 marinas, 13 dry marinas, plus 70 ports of other types. Collectively, they have a capacity of more than 17,000 moorings.

Broken down by county, the Šibenik-Knin County saw the biggest annual revenue in nautical ports, of 237.8 million kuna, or 17.6 percent up from 2016.
