The average net monthly salary paid in Croatia for February 2018 was 6,128 kuna (€828), the state statistics bureau said on Wednesday.

Compared with January 2018, this was a decrease of 0.9 percent in real terms.

Compared with February 2017, the average net monthly salary rose by 3.2 percent in real terms.

The median net salary for February 2018 was 4,975, meaning that half the workforce had a lower salary than that amount.

The Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) said in a comment on the DZS report that it expected the salaries in 2018 to continue to grow.
