The German Lufthansa, the largest European airline carrier, has set up an airline from Frankfurt to Zadar on Saturday, which will be flown by Airbus A-319 aeroplane twice a week, on Saturdays and Sundays.

“We are extremely pleased that Zadar has been linked to Frankfurt, one of the world’s largest air hubs. The fact that this has happened with Lufthansa, one of the largest European and world companies, makes us very proud. Zadar passengers will have many direct destinations in Europe and some farther destinations such as Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Johannesburg, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto… We have marked the Lufthansa Group’s share of almost 20 percent of the total number of passengers passing through the Zadar airport,” said Zadar Airport Director Josip Klismanic.

Senior Sales Manager for Lufthansa Group for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe Peter Pullem has announced that they will offer additional flights this month from Munich to Zadar.

“On Saturdays and Sundays, Zadar will be connected to one of the largest European air hubs at a return ticket price of EUR 89. Lufthansa’s Swissair, Austrian, Eurowings and Brussels carriers will fly to Zadar on 17 lines,” Pullem added.

The Airbus A-319 aeroplane was welcomed in Zadar with attractive “baptism” of water cannons, and passengers who arrived and departed to and from Zadar received special gifts.
