Average net salary in Zagreb rises to €990 in March 2018

Average net salary in Croatia's capital Zagreb in March 2018 was 7,302 kuna (€990), or up 4.9 percent up from the same month the year before, according to data released by the city's development and strategic planning bureau.

By industry, the highest salaries were in computer and electronics manufacturing, where the average net salary was 12,779 kuna (€1,734). This was followed by telecommunications, with 11,535 kuna, financial services with 11,252 kuna, and crude oil and gas extraction, with 11,230.

Average salaries above 10,000 kuna were also earned in software programming (10,285 kuna), pharmaceuticals (10,159 kuna), production of beverages (10,043), and advertising and market research (10,110 kuna).

On the other hand, the lowest salaries were in metalworking, with 3,662 kuna (€497), general services (3,913 kuna), and garment manufacturing (3,936 kuna).
