Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic arrived at Sochi, Russia, where she will watch tonight’s, Saturday, game between Croatia and Russia, in the World Football Cup in Russia.
She was welcomed by Croatia’s Head Coach Zlatko Dalic and Head of the Croatian Football Federation Davor Suker, in front of the hotel.
“It will not be easy for me to restrain myself in emotional moments,” said Grabar-Kitarovic, pointing to the fact that she will be in the VIP box this time, and not among fans, as has often been the case so far, adding that she believes it will be a good match and that Croatia will win.
She stressed that Coach Dalic seemed relaxed amid the big match.
“Dalic is a special person and an excellent coach. He can recognise the worth in every player, but he’s also an excellent psychiatrist who knows how to raise the players morale,” Grabar-Kitarovic said, Vecernji list daily reads.
