Croatia's soccer team reached a semi-final of the World Cup on Saturday when they beat the Russian national team on penalties after the result was 2-2 upon the completion of full and extra time.
The penalty shootout ended with the score 4-3 for Croatia, that will face in the semifinal England, which beat Sweden earlier in the day.
This is the second time for Croatia's soccer team to reach a semi-final of the FIFA soccer tournament. In 1998, Croatia won the third place during the World Cup in Paris.
The Croatia-Russia match was played in Sochi.
