At the end of June this year, there were 138,383 persons registered as unemployed in Croatia, which is 2.5 percent or 3,513 fewer than at the end of May and a drop of 18.2 percent (30,805) compared to June 2017, the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ) reported on Tuesday.
Daily data from the HZZ shows that the number of unemployed currently stands at 138,072 with 16,245 advertised job vacancies.
In June there were 17,482 newly-registered job seekers, an increase of 2.8 percent compared to June 2017.
A total of 20,995 people were deleted from the unemployment register in June, which is by 26.5 percent fewer than in June last year. Of that number 14,681 found people jobs.
