Croatia has fantastic players but the heart of the French Ambassador to Croatia will be with the French team during the finals of the World Cup.

“The match in Moscow will be wonderful. We are very happy that we have these fantastic players,” Ambassador Corinne Meunier told N1.

“You will understand that my heart is with our ‘blue’ (team) although Croatia too has fantastic players,” she said.

Being in Moscow for the match was a “D-day” she said, adding that 30,000 French fans are already in the city.

“This is a game, sport, a wonderful competition that unifies all of us. A fair, honest spirit and mutual respect are present from the very beginning,” she said.
