The 19th edition of Dance and Non-Verbal Theatre Festival San Vincenti began on Thursday in the picturesque central Istrian town of Svetvincenat.

The four-day festival features a rich programme which includes contemporary dance, physical theatre, and other non-verbal forms of performance.

Visitors will be able to enjoy ten remarkable performances by authors whose works represent and celebrate diversity, authenticity and creativity of contemporary dance and non-verbal theatre.

The artists, coming from all over Europe, will explore topics such as the Western way of thinking (Nine Lives, by Willman Dance Company from Finland), a happy mess of children’s minds (Cartoon, by Anton Lachky Company from Belgium), and the blindness of modern-day individualism (Peeping Eye, by Louis Thuriot and Borna Babic, from Belgium and Croatia).
