In the first six months of 2018, Croatia remained Bosnia and Herzegovina's main foreign trade partner, according to data released by Bosnia's Foreign Trade Chamber on Friday.
Croatian exports to Bosnia in the first six months of 2018 totalled €752 million, while Bosnia’s exports to Croatia reached €370 million.
Compared with the same period in 2017, Croatia’s exports to Bosnia rose by 10.2 percent while Bosnia’s exports to Croatia increased by 16.5 percent.
Bosnia’s foreign trade in the first half of 2018 amounted to slightly under €8 billion, or 9.5 percent down from the first six months of 2017. Its export-import ratio was at 63 percent.
European Union member countries are Bosnia’s main trade partners, accounting for 72 percent of its entire foreign trade. Croatia is Bosnia’s largest trade partner, followed by Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Austria.
