The Croatian Automobile Club issued the latest update on traffic conditions in Croatia, warning that due to wildfire, traffic is suspended on the DC8 Adriatic road between Omis and Dubica and that travelers might want to take a detour over the A1 motorway.
Heavy traffic and queues:
A1 Zagreb-Split-Ploce:
– toll station Lucko in direction Zagreb, 3 km
– at Sveti Rok tunnel, 11 km, towards Dubrovnik
A2 Zagreb-Macelj:
– at pay toll Trakoscan towardsSlovenia, 3 km
A3 Bregana-Lipovac:
– at the border crossing Bajakovo, 2 km, towards Serbia
– at pay toll Bregana, 1.5 km
A4 Zagreb-Gorican
– at pay toll Gorican, 2 km, towards Hungary
Istrian motorways:
–at the border crossings Kastel and Plovanija, 5 km, towards Slovenia
DC8 Adriatic road:
– heavy traffic on the following sections: Crikvenica-Novi Vinodolski, Zadar-Biograd na Moru, Split-Omis, Sibenik, Makarska and Dubrovnik.
Traffic ban for freight vehicles exceeding 7.5 T:
