Djuro Djakovic gets new orders from France and Germany

The Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles company, part of the Djuro Djakovic Group based in thge eastern city of Slavonski Brod, said on Friday it had signed contracts with French and German clients for additional deliveries of so-called Shimmns freight wagons worth 46 million kuna (€6.2 million).

The wagons are mainly used by the car-making industry, and the first batch of these additional wagons will be delivered to buyers in the first quarter of 2019.

This year the company has signed a number of contracts for Shimmns freight wagons with German and French clients.

A 34.5 million (€4.6 million) contract was signed with the German ERR European Rail Rent company in February, which was followed by a 38.5 million kuna (€5.2 million) contract with the French company Atir Rail LX in March, and a 33.1 million kuna (€4.4 million) contract was signed with Gatx Rail Germany in May.
