Retail sales in Croatia in April remained at the same level as they were in March on the month while on the annual level, they increased by 4.8%, with a 56-month streak year-over-year growth, the State Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said on Thursday.
According to DZS, total seasonally and working day adjusted data for retail shows that retail remained at the same level as it was in March.
Sales of food products however were up by 1.2% while the sale of non-food products with the exception of motor fuel and lubricants, dropped by 2.3%.
Retail sales on the year however continue the positive trend, being on the increase since September 2014 even though in real terms the increase in April was slower in comparison to March when it increased by 5.7% y-o-y.
