Nearly 4,000 different motorcycles roared through downtown Pula on Saturday as part of 25th Croatia Bike Week, an anniversary immortalised in a millennial photo of all participants taken outside the northern Adriatic port's Roman amphitheatre.
The people of Pula of all ages greeted cheered and photographed the bikers along their route through the city. Aside from Croatia, bikers hailed from Slovenia, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, Russia and other countries.
Croatia Bike Week traditionally featured live performances by many rock groups.
