The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts on Tuesday presented the results of a public call for encouraging enterprise in cultural and creative industries in 2019, for which a total of HRK 8 million (€1.08 million) has been set aside.

Of 253 applications submitted, 127 projects have been selected.

The tender was open from the beginning of June to the beginning of July this year. It was open to economic operators in the areas of performing and visual artists, book publishing and book selling, and audiovisual activities.

Culture Minister Nina Obuljen Korzinek said that the total amount was not large, but that it was significant for those that would share it.
