Six illegal migrants from Iran, aged from 19 to 33, were detained in a suburb of the southern coastal city of Split on Tuesday, local police said.
The Iranians were found on a bus en route from Omis to Split after the police stopped the bus and checked the passengers’ IDs. They were taken to a police station for further inquiries.
About ten days ago, police detained four migrants on a bus in Solin, en route from Sinj to Split. They were processed under the Foreign Nationals Act, Split-Dalmatia County police said.
