In the run-up to the December 12 election in Britain, N1 television's Domagoj Novokmet talked on Wednesday with former advisor to Prime Minister Theresa May, James Johnson, who commented on latest polls showing that Tory lead over labour has dramatically dropped, injecting uncertainty about the outcome of Thursday's vote.

Johnson said that Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is unlikely to politically survive in the case of a landslide defeat of his party, but that corbynism as a platform is bound to retain a strong presence in the party regardless of the outcome.

He added that former Tory members who are now running against their former party candidates are unlikely to have much success as independents - but at he same time some stalwart Tory figures, such as foreign minister Dominic Raab, are in danger of failing to get elected in their constituencies.
