Three new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Slovenia after 625 tests carried out in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people infected with the novel COVID-19 virus to 1,457, the government said on Sunday.
One more infected person has died, which puts the death toll at 102.
Forty-one infected people are currently being treated in hospitals, two fewer than on Saturday, and ten are in intensive care units, the same number as the previous day.
To date, 62,828 tests have been carried out, including serological tests on a national sample which have shown that the percentage of people who were in contact with the virus is relatively low.
Since the number of new cases and of people in intensive care is on the decline, the government has continued to ease some of the restrictions in consultation with epidemiologists.
