In the last 24 hours 1,182 people have been tested for the coronavirus in Slovenia, and only one new case of infection has been confirmed, while there have been no new deaths from Covid-19, the Slovenian government announced on Tuesday.

After conducting 64,547 tests for the coronavirus, the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections since the start of the epidemic is 1,461, while 102 patients have died from the disease.

Also, 40 patients are still hospitalised, nine of whom are severe cases in intensive care units. That is the smallest number of hospitalised patients since 18 March. Since the start of the epidemic, 259 patients have been released from hospitals after recovering from Covid-19.
