Over the past 24 hours, one new Covid-19 infection and no new deaths have been confirmed in Slovenia, the government said on Monday, adding that the number of infections since the beginning of the epidemic reached 1,469 and that the death toll remained 107.
On Sunday, 256 tests were done, markedly less than usually on weekends. During the week, about 1,000 tests have been done per day on average and about 500 over the weekend.
Sixteen Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, including three in intensive care, and their number continues to decline. Two weeks ago, 40 patients were hospitalised.
The government and health workers believe the epidemic has been put under control, so the relaxation of the social life is continuing.
