Slovenia has registered 29 new cases of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, two fewer than the day before, Slovenia's government informed on Thursday.
The number of patients in hospitals too has declined to 19 patients, or four fewer than the day before and only two patients are in intensive care.
Five patients were released from hospital in the past 24 hours after recovering from the disease and there has not been any new deaths, according to Slovenia’s health ministry.
There are currently 193 active cases in Slovenia with most of these being in the capital, Ljubljana.
Twenty-two of the latest cases are young people aged under 34.
Recently Slovenia has recorded that there are many more young people being infected than when the epidemic first appeared in March and April when most of those infected were elderly people.
The government also denied media speculation that the start of the new school year could be deferred for two weeks.
