Slovenia conducted 1,338 tests for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, with 42 cases proving positive, nine more than on Thursday but no new deaths were recorded, the government tweeted on Friday.
That brings the total number of people infected since the outbreak of the epidemic to 2,797 and there are currently 428 active cases while 133 people have died as a consequence of Covid-19, according to Slovenia’s health ministry.
Currently 22 people are being treated in hospital and one patient is in intensive care.
Three new patients were admitted to hospital on Thursday while four people were released after recovering from the disease.
