Slovenia reports 41 new coronavirus cases, no deaths in last 24 hours

Slovenia has confirmed 41 new coronavirus cases after 1,415 people have been tested in the past 24 hours, the government said on Twitter on Tuesday. No deaths were reported.

This is a considerable rise in the daily number of infections from Monday when 18 new cases were confirmed after 588 tests were performed.

Since the start of the outbreak in the country, a total of 158,871 tests have been performed and 2,924 have returned positive.

Currently, there are 468 active cases, and 133 people have died to date.

Twenty-five people infected with the novel virus are receiving hospital treatment and two of them are in intensive care.
