The 30th edition of the World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb will take place from September 28 to October 3, with 40 films from 27 countries competing in the Short Films category.

There are over 300 films in the programme, and in addition to prestigious competitions, the festival will focus on Hungarian cinema and masters of animation.

The festival will mark the 60th anniversary of the International Animated Film Association and the Annecy Film Festival with a selection of award-winning films from its rich history and the WTF programme for promoting diversity.

The International Animafest Scanner VII Symposium will also take place.
