Heads of the Croatian Bishops Conference (HBK) and members of the national Covid response team on Thursday discussed cooperation in the prevention of the virus in the coming period, notably ahead of All Saints' Day and Christmas, when many believers are expected at celebrations.

Both sides expressed willingness to continue their dialogue and seek the best solutions so that all the epidemiological measures can be complied with on the one hand and believers’ needs met on the other, the HBK said in a press release.

The meeting underlined the constructive cooperation between the HBK and the response team in preventing the spread of Covid-19 to date as well as the importance of a serious approach to the pandemic and responsible behaviour of every individual and institution, the HBK said.
