Bosnia sees new daily record-high with over 1,550 coronavirus cases reported

Bosnia and Herzegovina has seen another record-high daily coronavirus count with more than 1,550 fresh cases and 21 fatalities reported, according to healthcare authorities.

The report includes 909 new cases in the Federation, 625 in Republika Srpska and 21 in Brcko District, three administrative units in the country, managing their healthcare system separately.

The new fatalities were reported in each of the three parts, 15 in the Federation, five in Republika Srpska and one in Brcko District.

According to official statistics, more than 3,000 lab tests have been performed in the last 24 hours.

Bosnia’s coronavirus total stands at 43,151 with 26,903 patients who have recovered to date. With 1,125 deaths, the country now has 15,123 active cases.
